Only here you will be able to obtain bonus coupons for the work.Everyone at the mandatory sort will be entered in a drawing for a $250 gift certificate for the Spring 2008 sale (this will be drawn at the end of sort).We are already full for the 40 hour worker program, but if you want to be added to the waiting list to get in on this, I will be happy to add your name to that list. TO THE 40 HOUR WORKERS FOR FALL 2007: Please remember there are a few changes to the program this time. If you find that you are unable to work the 40 hours please let me know ASAP so I can offer the spot to the next person in line. The changes are: (1) all 40 hours must be worked during the two weeks of the children’s sale - no bartering will be allowed for the 40 hour shifts (2) no children will be allowed to work towards the 40 hour spots (3) the reward is either a $300 gift certificate OR keeping 100% of your profits. You must decide at your first shift what you want and onfy augentropfen if you don’t work all 40 hours plus the mandatory 4 hour sorting shift, you are responsible to pay back the $300. You will be signing a contract this time stating this. You WILL NOT receive the $25 bonus for the 3 shift workers in addition to the $300. NEW FOR FALL 2007(1) You can now pick your shifts during the children’s sale or the adult sale (does not apply to 40 hour workers). (2) If you don’t show up for your shift you will not be allowed to work at our sale again and your name will be given to Encores and More as well. (3) We will provide food and drink for you at every shift (including sort) (4) We ask that you not use your cell phones while working unless it is an emergency Important Dates: Workers Shopping Date: Thursday, August 16 Working Dates: August 11-September 2 (see below for complete schedule) Mandatory Sorting Day: Saturday, August 25 2-6pm (dinner provided) We have many great spots available where we need your help! All we require is one five hour shift plus the mandatory sort day to be able to shop on Thursday, August 16. Please note, the sorting shift is mandatory for all workers, even the last minute helpers! If you do not show up for sort, a $50 fee will be deducted from your consignor check. If you have a conflict with sorting, please contact me for additional options, such as sending a substitute or making your hours up on another day. Requirements: To shop early and receive all the benefits of a volunteer worker, you must commit to and follow through with one of the following: In order to shop the earliest time on Thursday, August 16 at 5pm AND get to shop early for half price day on Thursday, August 23 at 5pm, you must work 3 five hour shifts and the sorting shift In order to shop the second time on Thursday, August 16 at 7pm AND get to shop early for half price day on Thursday, August 23 at 5pm, you must work 2 five hour shifts and the sorting shift In order to shop the third time on Thursday, August 16 at 8pm (NOTE: this does not include early shopping for half price day), you must work 1 five hour shift and the sorting shift What you can expect: FUN- We have wonderful workers you will love getting to know! ACCOMPLISHMENT- We are busy from the moment we arrive until the day is done. SHOP EARLY for the best selection and cost with 40 workers instead of hundreds of consignors DROP OFF your items when you work (if you work on drop-off) PICK-UP on mandatory sorting day, NO driving back on Sunday to pick up HALF PRICE SHOPPING- Everyone working at least 2 five hour shifts get to shop the half price sale on Thursday afternoon at 5pm instead of waiting until Friday morning! Just imagine the bargains! Shopping Etiquette: On workers shopping day, only the actual workers may come in. Spouses or older children must work their own shifts to pre-shop. We recommend you bring a laundry basket to hold your purchases. Miscellaneous Information: The shifts will be filled by first come, first served basis so please email/call me ASAP if you are interested in working. We also BARTER your services for shopping early, so let us know if you have something to BARTER! We especially need banquet tables that are at least 5' in length and round racks. We are also in need of help setting up and breaking down, VIP taggers and food that can be delivered throughout the sale. I am open to anything so please let me know what you have to offer and let's make a deal! Please let me know if you have a health condition that might prevent you from doing certain jobs, such as pregnancy, bad back, etc. We will put you somewhere that is comfortable! Please call me ASAP if you sign up for a shift and then have to cancel. We truly need your help so please try to find a replacement for your shift! 347-9638 is the number to call if you need to cancel during the sale. Bring any drinks you will need during your shifts and remember that even though the building is cooled, you may want to dress in layered work clothes!
